Parman.jpg (5024 bytes)Larry Parman

Larry Parman did not go to law school to be a lawyer. Circumstances propelled him into practicing law and he has a devotion to his firm, his profession, his clients and his employees that is seldom found and even rarer to experience.

In the late 1970's when the use of a Living Trust was unknown and controversial at best, Larry began recommending it to his family and friends. In the mid 1980's, he established Parman & Associates and offered a series of public and private seminars designed to inform the public about this valuable concept.

Today, Parman & Associates, with offices in Hays, Kansas City, Oklahoma City and Tulsa, concentrates on estate planning, asset protection and business succession planning making effective estate planning tools available to clients throughout the central United States.

The author of several published articles on estate planning, he is the former host of his own radio show, "Your Estate Matters", and is a sought after speaker and presenter of educational courses on estate planning for professionals.

Larry did his undergraduate work at the University of Missouri and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. He is an Accredited Estate Planner with the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils and is a charter member of The American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys having served as one of the original members of its Board of Governors.

Licensed to practice before the United States Supreme Court, Larry is a member of the Missouri and Oklahoma Bar Associations. He is a past president and a member of the board of directors of the Oklahoma City Chapter of Junior Achievement and also serves on the advisory board of The Hawthorne Group, L.C., an international public affairs and public relations company of senior political and business and communications specialists located in Alexandria, Virginia. Beyond his legal experience, Larry has an extensive banking background as a businessman which he puts to use in preparing practical, understandable estate plans for his clients.
