James Cooper
James Cooper is an associate in the Kansas
City, Missouri, office of Husch and Eppenberger, LLC, and is a member of the firm's Tax
and Estate Planning Practice Group. He has been with the firm since August 1997. He
practices in the areas of estate planning with an emphasis on trust administration, income
taxation, investments and personal finance.
Mr. Cooper is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Kansas Bar, the Arkansas Bar, the American
Bar Association, and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.
Mr. Cooper is a C.P.A. and he obtained his J.D. (1997) from the University of Arkansas
School of Law at Fayetteville where he served as the managing editor of the Arkansas Law
Review and was a member of the School's National Moot Court Traveling Team. He also has a
B.A. in Accounting from Ouachita Baptist University, located in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
Prior to attending Law School, Mr. Cooper worked as an accountant in Little Rock,

Bryan T. Renfrow
Bryan T. Renfrow was a recipient of both the
Judge Fred L. Howard Prize for Excellence in Appellate Advocacy, and the R. Jack Garrett
Prize for Excellence in Trial Advocacy.

local publications.

Mr. Renfrow was born in Jefferson City, Missouri, on May 13, 1961. He received his
undergraduate degree from Drury College, Magna Cum Laude, in 1983 and his law degree from
the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1985, where he was a member of the Board of
Advocates and Order of the Barristers.
He joined the law firm in 1988, and became a partner in 1995.
